SHIPPING FEES
Within Japan:
Free Shipping for purchases of any items from chieimai.com.
Shipping to outside Japan:
A flat rate of ¥7,000 Japanese yen is applied for shipping items purchased from chieimai.com. Shipping restrictions are applied on some products. Shipping rate will be added to your cart after clicking on “check out”. Please contact us at info@chieimai.com if you have any questions.

* Our account information appears after filling out all required area and clicking on “PLACE ORDER” from the page of billing information. Cash transactions apply only to residents of Japan.
SHIPPING PROCESS
Orders are shipped via “Black Cat”, Yamato Unyu or any applicable couriers if Black Cat is not available to your area. When the payment is approved online, the shipping is processed within three (3) business days. If the order is made on Saturday, Sunday or a holiday, the order will be processed on the following business day. If you do not receive the courier within 10 business days from your order, please contact us.
SHIPPING RESTRICTED PRODUCTS, FOODS AND ALCOHOL ITEMS
Some countries prohibit shipping, importing and selling certain animal products, food and alcohol items online. Our products are shipped from Japan. Your country of residence may not allow you to import our products by courier. Please refer to the rules and regulations of your local customs office before you make a purchase from us. If CHIE IMAI or a third party confirms that your purchase of product(s) is unable to be delivered to your shipping address, we will advise you by email upon processing your order and inform you of the status of the shipping. We will process the shipping within (7) seven business days of our email notice if you provide us with a valid shipping address at info@chieimai.com. Otherwise, we will cancel the order and fully refund your purchase of our product(s). Refunds will be processed within (10) ten business days. CHIE IMAI is not responsible for ensuring any purchased items can be imported to your requested shipping address if it is outside Japan.
RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
We will exchange any defective items (such as broken or leaking items as a result of shipping) within eight (8) days of shipping. Place items in their original packaging and send back to our address. Call or contact us at info@chieimai.com within eight (8) days of your shipping notice to start the process. We will reimburse the cost of shipping for exchanged items. Returned items must be sent back untagged and/or unopened within eight (8) days of shipping for a refund. A refund will be made depending on your original payment method. CHIE IMAI Group does not charge additional fees when our customers request reimbursement. However, processing fees accrued by your financial institutions and/or credit card companies on your purchases may not be returned depending on the terms of use of each financial institution and/or credit card company. We will process a refund as soon as we receive the returned item(s). CHIE IMAI will not provide refunds for used or opened/untagged items and likewise will not refund the shipping fees for used or opened items.

CHIE IMAI owns www.chieimai.com (“the Site”). CHIE IMAI owns or has rights to all of the wallpaper, icons, characters, artwork, images, graphics, music, text, software and other content of the Site (the “Content”), and all HTML, CGI and other code and scripts in any format used to implement the Site (the “Code”). You may not copy, modify, upload, download, transmit, re-publish, display for redistribution to third parties for commercial purposes, or otherwise distribute any Code or Content from the Site without the prior written agreement of CHIE IMAI. All names, logos and trademarks which appear on the Site are the property of CHIE IMAI or are used by CHIE IMAI under license. Your failure to comply with this Terms of Use will constitute breach of contract and will violate CHIE IMAI ‘s copyright, trademark and other proprietary and industrial property rights.
CHIE IMAI DRESS TAILOR-MADE SERVICES TERMS AND CONDITIONS
CHIE IMAI Dress Tailor-made services is a service we offer to tailor make your dresses from our dress collections. Precise measurements and basting stitches are required. We ask customers who would like to have tailor-made dresses to schedule an appointment at our store to have measurements taken.
Our dresses are designed and crafted from limited and quality fabrics. If the applicable fabric is not available at the time of the online order, we will advise you of the current status of our inventory within three (3) business days.
We are happy to assist you with alternative plans in this circumstance.
If you wish to change or cancel your online appointment, click on the attached link in the confirmation email and complete the form. If your appointment date falls on a Monday, or the day after a holiday, or on the third Tuesday of the month, contact the store you chose to visit directly to reschedule.
The appointment fee of ¥33,000 (tax included) will be applied toward the total payment for your order. It is a special online price. The regular walk-in appointment fee in our stores is ¥55,000 (tax included).
Final billing will be arranged in our store after you book your appointment online. Our sales associates will assist you to make payment using your preferred method. Cash, credit cards and other methods of payment are available at our stores. Ask our sales associates about any payment issues.
If your initial order is made online, reimbursement due to cancellation is made online only. The sales associates in our stores are not authorized to provide refunds. Our online reimbursement process begins within three (3) business days of your order cancelation. The terms of the refund process depend on individual credit card companies and / or your financial institution. Please contact your credit card company or your financial institution.
If we cannot contact you or do not hear from you within thirty (30) business days from your no show at our appointed store, we will not provide you with a refund for the online dress tailor made order.
